Where to Find Fake Flowers in Israel

Ok so I don’t really like fake flowers.  BUT.  I have a black thumb.  My husband is great at growing things, but honestly I was a little afraid to have kids (50 million years ago when the dinosaurs ruled the earth to quote my son – who by the way was just drafted to the IDF).  And since I bit the bullet once (well more than once as I had FOUR kids – but whose counting), and they looked so nice on all those fancy websites, (not the kids – the fake flowers) I decided to bite the bullet and buy some.  Unfortunately they either look super cheap or they are very very expensive.  And for once I didn’t like what Ikea had to offer me.  (I know, shocking.)  So I ventured out into the big wild unknown and foundlogo

an amazing store in Kibbutz Nishar Tzarani, which is no where I have ever been before. (somewhere by Rishon)  Helpful on the phone they were not…(yoda) but the store itself has an amazing selection of fake flowers and leaves etc, like you have never seen before.  Plus the prices were very reasonable.  The fake leaves ranged from 2- 5 shekels and the flowers ranged from 2 on up depending on the bunch, type etc. Still by far the best prices I have seen.

Pretty amazing right?  And here they are resting at home.

I honestly do not think you can tell they aren’t real.  So okay, I did not make them, but hey part of DIY is finding stuff.  So yeah, I did this myself.  (Plus I spray painted the stand the vase is on in silver–             so there.)
